This chipset also features advanced AI technology designed to enhance user experience across a variety of applications. Additionally, the Dimensity 9400 supports Wi-Fi 7 for faster and more reliable wireless connectivity.
On the memory side, it supports LPDDR5X RAM with speeds of up to 10,667 Mbps, as well as UFS 4.0 internal storage for exceptional read and write speeds.
When compared to the Dimensity 9300+, the Dimensity 9400 delivers a 35% increase in single-core CPU performance, a 28% boost in multi-core performance, and up to 40% better power efficiency.
In benchmark tests, the Dimensity 9400 scored 2,647,012 on AnTuTu v10, and achieved 2874 in single-core and 8969 in multi-core tests on GeekBench 6.

Benchmark tests show that the vivo X100s with the Dimensity 9300+ scored approximately 2.2 million points on AnTuTu v10. On Geekbench v6, it recorded 2,213 points in single-core tests and 7,274 points in multi-core tests.
Compared to the standard Dimensity 9300, the Dimensity 9300+ offers an increased clock speed on its highest Cortex-X4 core, jumping from 3.25 GHz to 3.4 GHz. This upgrade translates to better performance and a smoother gaming experience.
3. Dimensity 9300

Released in November 2023, the Dimensity 9300 introduces a bold CPU configuration, eliminating efficiency cores entirely. Instead, it features four Cortex-X4 prime cores (3.25 GHz) and four Cortex-A720 performance cores (2.0 GHz), making it a powerhouse for demanding tasks.
The CPU is paired with several key components, including the Immortalis-G720 MC12 GPU (1.3 GHz), MediaTek APU 790 AI processor, Imagiq 990 ISP, 5G modem, and MediaTek MiraVision 990 display driver. All these components are built on TSMC’s 4nm fabrication process.
Additionally, the chipset supports ray tracing and AVI codec accelerators, further enhancing its capabilities. With this aggressive CPU setup, MediaTek seems to be taking a bold step—not just to surpass the Dimensity 9200, but also to compete directly with Qualcomm’s Snapdragon 8 Gen 3.
However, the absence of efficiency cores could lead to thermal throttling, a mechanism that reduces performance to prevent overheating.
Fortunately, real-world tests suggest this isn't a major concern. According to a CPU Throttling Test conducted by GSMArena, the Dimensity 9300 maintained 73% of its peak performance, even under sustained load on the vivo X100 Pro.
This stability is largely thanks to the phone's effective cooling system. Other benchmark results from GSMArena further confirm the chipset's impressive performance:

MediaTek has enhanced the ARM Immortalis G715 GPU within this chipset, achieving a 32% performance improvement while maintaining power efficiency.
The Dimensity 9200 is built using the ARMv9 architecture and features a diverse array of processors: a Cortex X3 super core running at 3.05 GHz, three high-performance ARM Cortex A715 cores at 2.85 GHz, and four Cortex A510 power efficiency cores at 1.8 GHz.
Additionally, the chipset supports LPDDR5x RAM, UFS 4.0 internal storage, WiFi 7, 5G, and Bluetooth 5.3, all on a 4 nm manufacturing process.
In the second quarter of 2023, MediaTek introduced the Dimensity 9200+, an overclocked variant of the 9200. This version sees increases in CPU and GPU clock speeds: the Cortex X3 prime core reaches 3.35 GHz, the Cortex A715 high-performance core 3.0 GHz, and the Cortex A510 efficiency core 2.0 GHz.

The Dimensity 8300 introduces generative AI technology to MediaTek's chipset lineup, first seen in the Dimensity 9300 series.
This chipset integrates the MediaTek APU 780 AI processor and enables smartphones to utilize the high-performing Stable Diffusion model for AI processing. The Dimensity 8300 stands out not only for its AI capabilities but also for its computing and graphics performance.

8. Dimensity 8200 and 8200 Ultra

The Dimensity 8200, set to debut in the fourth quarter of 2022, marks MediaTek's entry into the premium mid-range chipset market.
This chipset is manufactured using TSMC's advanced 4 nm process to enhance its efficiency notably. One of its standout features, HyperEngine 6.0, optimizes gaming performance by balancing exceptional graphics quality with efficient power usage.
Additionally, the Dimensity 8200 introduces real-time ray tracing, a sophisticated rendering technique that produces more lifelike light reflections and shadow effects in games, elevating the visual experience.
The core configuration of the Dimensity 8200 includes eight CPU cores and six GPU cores (Mali-G610 at 950 MHz), supplemented by the MediaTek APU 580 AI processor, the Imagiq 785 image processor, and the MiraVision 785 display chip.
The CPU configuration consists of one Cortex A78 prime core at 3.1 GHz, three Cortex A78 performance cores at 3 GHz, and four Cortex A55 power efficiency cores at 2 GHz.

The Dimensity 8000, often considered the "twin brother" to the 8100, shares many specifications but differs slightly in GPU performance, being 80% less powerful than that of the 8100. Unlike the 8100, it supports FHD Plus displays with a refresh rate up to 168 Hz.
10. Dimensity 7350

The MediaTek Dimensity 7350 is designed for mid-range smartphones and integrates a 5G modem that supports Sub-6GHz networks. This provides enhanced download and upload speeds in supported areas.
The chipset employs an octa-core processor setup, consisting of 2 Cortex-A715 cores at 3000 MHz for robust performance tasks and 6 Cortex-A510 cores at 2000 MHz for efficiency.
It supports Full HD+ resolution displays with a refresh rate of up to 120Hz and can record videos in 4K HDR, allowing for high-quality video production with a greater dynamic range.
Performance benchmarks reveal that the Dimensity 7350 has scored 753,533 points on AnTuTu 10, with Geekbench 6 results of 1195 for single-core and 2622 for multi-core performance.
