5 Differences Between iQOO Z10 Lite and iQOO Z10
The iQOO Z10 is a mid-range phone that gives good value for money. It also has one of the biggest batteries in the world, with a 7300 mAh capacity. Even though the price is still affordable, some people may find it too expensive. If that’s the case, the iQOO Z10 Lite can be a cheaper option.
As the name suggests, the iQOO Z10 Lite is a simpler version of the iQOO Z10. Because of this, some features have been reduced, which is why the price is lower. Want to know how they are different? Take a look below.
1. Battery Capacity

The battery is one of the biggest differences. The iQOO Z10 has a huge 7300 mAh battery, making it one of the phones with the largest batteries in the world! The iQOO Z10 Lite also has a large battery at 6000 mAh. Both use silicon carbide, a type of material that allows a large battery without making the phone thick.
For battery life, the iQOO Z10 can last up to 35.5 hours for video playback, 24.9 hours for video streaming, 15 hours for gaming, and 8 hours of nonstop video recording.
On the other hand, the iQOO Z10 Lite can run for 17 hours of video playback, 61 hours of music, 14 hours of navigation, and 10 hours of gaming. These are still great numbers for daily use. Both phones are suitable for people who are often outdoors or use their phones a lot during the day.
Both phones also support fast charging. Because the iQOO Z10 has a large battery, it needs higher charging power. It supports 90W fast charging, which lets it reach 50% in just 33 minutes.
The iQOO Z10 Lite supports 44W fast charging. According to the official claim, it can also reach 50% in about 30 minutes. You only need about 1 hour to fully charge either of these phones and use them again.
2. Camera Design and Water Resistance

The iQOO Z10 Lite and iQOO Z10 look very different when it comes to camera design. The iQOO Z10 has a large round camera module placed in the center of the back. This kind of design is usually used by flagship vivo phones that need extra space for bigger camera hardware.
But since the iQOO Z10 does not have a big or complex camera, this design might feel too much. On the other hand, the iQOO Z10 Lite has a simpler camera layout on the left side. It only has two circles, and the bigger one is for the main camera.
There is also a difference in water resistance. Both phones come with MIL-STD-810H certification, meaning they can handle tough conditions. However, the iQOO Z10 Lite is even more protected because it has IP68 and IP69 ratings. This means it can resist dust and be underwater up to 2 meters deep for 30 minutes.
The iQOO Z10, in comparison, only has an IP65 rating. It can handle small amounts of dust and water splashes but cannot be fully placed in water or used during heavy rain.
3. Chipset and 5G Support

Another important difference is the network and chipset. The iQOO Z10, starting at US$200, already supports 5G. It uses the Snapdragon 7s Gen 3 chipset, which is ready for faster networks and stronger performance.
The iQOO Z10 Lite only supports 4G and uses the Snapdragon 685 chipset. There is actually a 5G version of the Z10 Lite with a Dimensity 6300 chip, but that model is only sold in India.
The Snapdragon 7s Gen 3 is much more powerful. It is made using a 4 nm process by TSMC and has eight CPU cores in three groups. The first group has one Kryo Prime core based on Cortex A720 with a speed of 2.5 GHz for top performance.
The second group has three Kryo Gold cores based on Cortex A720 with 2.4 GHz for performance support. The last group has four Kryo Silver cores based on Cortex A520 with 1.8 GHz to save power. For graphics, it uses the Adreno 810 GPU that runs at 1050 MHz.
The Snapdragon 685 is also capable, with a 6 nm process. It has four Cortex-A73 performance cores (2.8 GHz) and four Cortex-A53 efficiency cores (1.9 GHz), making it good for multitasking and gaming, though not as fast.
Based on AnTuTu v10 scores, the Snapdragon 7s Gen 3 can reach up to 800,000 points. Meanwhile, the Snapdragon 685 scores around 370,000. These scores give us an idea of how well both phones can handle daily tasks and games.
4. OIS and Video Recording Quality

OIS, or Optical Image Stabilization, helps keep the camera steady. It works not only for videos but also helps reduce blur in photos. Sadly, the iQOO Z10 Lite does not have this feature on its main camera. That is why the iQOO Z10 is better for taking photos and videos, especially in low-light situations.
Both phones have the same camera resolution. The main camera on the back is 50 MP. There is no ultrawide or telephoto lens, so users only get the main camera for taking photos.
When it comes to video, the iQOO Z10 is also better. It can record videos up to 4K at 30 frames per second. It also has a gyro-EIS feature that helps stabilize the video while recording in 1080p. The iQOO Z10 Lite can only record up to 1080p at 30 frames per second. This might not be good enough for people who often make videos for social media.
For the front camera, the iQOO Z10 also has an advantage. It comes with a 32 MP selfie camera. The Z10 Lite only has an 8 MP front camera. This may cause a noticeable difference in photo quality, especially in darker environments.
5. Screen Brightness and Stereo Speakers

Even though the iQOO Z10 has many better features, the Z10 Lite also has something special. In terms of sound, the iQOO Z10 Lite is actually better because it already has stereo speakers. This means it has two speaker holes, so the sound is more balanced.
This feature makes listening to music, watching videos, and playing games more enjoyable. It gives a better experience than phones with only one speaker, like the iQOO Z10.
However, both phones do not have a 3.5 mm audio jack. So, if you want to use earphones, you need to use a converter or special earphones with a USB Type-C connection. Another option is to use wireless earphones or TWS that connect through Bluetooth.
So, those are some key differences between the iQOO Z10 and iQOO Z10 Lite. The iQOO Z10 clearly has better features overall. The iQOO Z10 Lite is a simpler version and is more affordable. But if your budget allows, it might be better to save up a bit more and choose the iQOO Z10, because it offers better value for its price.
