5 Best One Piece Games on Android

Written by Sera Serinda A

Who does not know One Piece? The popularity of this anime has inspired many developers to create digital game versions. While each game has different gameplay, they all have one thing in common: characters from the world of Luffy and his crew.

These games take their animations from the One Piece anime and are just as exciting as other anime-based games. All of them are free to download from the Google Play Store and can be played on your Android device.

1. ONE PIECE Bounty Rush

Among all the One Piece games on Google Play, this one is probably the most popular among fans. Developed by Bandai Namco, the visuals and voice acting are exactly the same as in the anime.

This is a PvP action game where you team up with three other players to form a group. The goal is simple: capture the treasure scattered across the map by taking the flags placed in certain areas.

However, it is not as easy as it sounds. You will face other groups who are your opponents, and both sides must fight to get the most treasure and win.

To capture a flag, you first need to defeat the enemy team guarding it. Luckily, each character has unique skills, so teamwork is important to gain an advantage.

You can also level up characters to improve their strength and durability. All the characters are from the One Piece world, and you can collect your favourites like Luffy, Zoro, and Nami, as well as villains like Crocodile and Doflamingo.

What I like about this game:

  • Authentic visuals and voice acting, just like in the anime
  • Fun and competitive 4v4 PvP gameplay
  • Unique skills for each character
  • Many characters to collect from the One Piece world
  • Ability to level up characters to strengthen your team
  • Attractive and animated lobby design

One thing to note:

  • Some characters are only available during limited events

2. ONE PIECE TREASURE CRUISE

This RPG game features chain combat gameplay. You select several One Piece characters to form a team and face enemies in battle.

The game uses a turn-based system. For example, after Luffy attacks, the next turn might be Sanji, then Chopper, then Zoro. Each character has different attack power, so arranging the attack order is important.

It also uses a timing mechanic and a Type Advantage system (STR > DEX > QCK > STR). This works like rock-paper-scissors, where STR beats DEX, DEX beats QCK, and QCK beats STR. You can form a team of up to six crew members.

To win, you need both quick reflexes and good strategy. As enemies get stronger, timing your chain attacks becomes even more important to keep your team alive until the end.

What I like about ONE PIECE TREASURE CRUISE:

  • Unique and strategic chain battle system
  • Type Advantage system makes battles more interesting
  • Many characters to collect, each with their own skills
  • Great for RPG fans who enjoy quick thinking and planning

One thing to note:

  • Can feel repetitive without enough character variety

3. ONEPIECE CARDGAME

This is an official trading card game (TCG) app based on the One Piece franchise. The gameplay is similar to Yu-Gi-Oh! but with the pirate theme of Luffy and his friends.

You start by building a deck with a Leader Card, such as Luffy, Zoro, or Kaido, as the centre of your strategy. Each Leader has a colour (Red, Blue, Green, and others) that determines which cards can be included in the deck.

The cards are divided into several types; Character cards (for attacking or defending), Event cards (one-time effects), Stage cards (buffs or debuffs), and DON!! cards (which work as “mana” to play other cards).

If you are new to TCGs, there is a tutorial mode that is easy to follow. If you are more experienced, you can try the Free Battle mode against the AI. However, the Android version is currently only a tutorial or simulator. It cannot be considered a full TCG game yet, as it does not have complete features.

What I like about ONE PIECE CARD GAME:

  • Official game with authentic One Piece visuals and cards
  • Strategic TCG gameplay with different card types
  • Beginner-friendly tutorial mode

Things to note:

  • The Android version is only a tutorial, not a full game
  • No online match feature yet

4. King of Saliling

King of Sailing is a pirate adventure game set in the One Piece world. You can build your own crew, explore famous islands, and take part in battles.

The map is divided into islands such as East Blue and Grand Line, where you can complete main missions and side quests. The battles are turn-based, so planning your attacks and timing them well is the key to winning.

The graphics combine 2D and 3D styles, and the characters look close to the anime version. Besides story mode, there is also a PvP mode, where you can challenge other players from around the world. If you enjoy exploration and strategic battles in a pirate setting, this game is worth trying.

What I like about King of Sailing:

  • Explore famous islands like East Blue and Grand Line
  • Hybrid 2D and 3D visuals that look similar to the anime
  • PvP mode to battle other players online

One thing to note:

  • Some features and characters take time to unlock

5. Manga Clash

Manga Clash is not focused only on One Piece, but it features characters from many famous anime and manga series, such as Luffy from One Piece, Naruto, Goku, and Ichigo.

You can form a team with characters from different worlds and battle against enemy teams. This mix of characters is one of the game’s biggest attractions.

The gameplay is turn-based, similar to ONE PIECE TREASURE CRUISE, but with auto-battle mechanics. Your characters will attack automatically, so you do not have to control every move. However, you can still join in during battles by activating combo attacks manually to make your attacks stronger.

There are also extra features such as character level upgrades, team formation settings, and a gacha system. The more you play and upgrade your team, the higher your chance to collect powerful five-star characters from famous anime series.

What I like about Manga Clash:

  • Mix of characters from various top anime series in one team
  • Simple but fun turn-based gameplay
  • Auto-battle option for casual play
  • Manual combo attacks to keep the game interactive

One thing to note:

  • Not focused on One Piece alone, which may disappoint some fans

These are some One Piece games you can try on your Android device. Which one do you want to play first?
