5 Best and Most Exciting Quiz Games on Android

Written by Sera Serinda A

Maybe you have heard of the quiz with a billion rupiah prize called Who Wants to Be a Millionaire? The TV quiz once aired and became the inspiration for a fun and exciting quiz game.

This quiz concept has also been developed into Android games. So, here is a list of quiz games on Android.

1. QuizzLand

QuizzLand is available not only in English but also in many languages. You can choose which language you want to use when playing.

After that, QuizzLand will ask you to enter your age. This helps the system adjust the difficulty level of the quiz. You will also be asked to provide your gender and your favourite topic.

The quiz topics in QuizzLand include Film & TV, Society, History, Sports, Geography, Science, Nature, and Culture. The quizzes are arranged in levels. Each level has a number of questions, and you must collect enough points to pass.

Although the concept is simple, QuizzLand makes the game interesting with animations and sound effects that make answering questions more fun. The questions are not only multiple choice. Sometimes you will need to arrange words or answer bonus questions with special rewards.

QuizzLand also focuses on learning. For every question, there is an explanation menu that gives details about the object in the quiz. By playing, your knowledge will grow.

Things I like about QuizzLand:

  • Quizzes are arranged with a level system
  • Difficulty is adjusted to the user’s age
  • Users can choose their favourite topics
  • Available in many languages
  • Explanation feature adds extra knowledge
  • Rank mode with local and global rankings

One thing to note:

  • On my device, the game layout feels a bit stiff

2. TRIVIA 360

Before starting the quiz, you will be asked to choose an avatar. The default avatars are free to use, and if you prefer, you can upload your own photo as an avatar.

Trivia 360 comes with different game modes. You can play solo or compete against other players. In multiplayer mode, each question has a short timer, which makes the game feel more competitive.

I tried both modes, solo and PvP (called head to head). The questions in PvP felt more difficult than in solo mode. In solo mode, some questions even appeared again, although in slightly different forms.

Solo mode also has a longer timer. You get 1 minute to answer 10 questions, while PvP gives only 5 seconds for each one. Another difference is that solo mode uses a life system, while PvP is based on who gets the highest score.

Trivia 360 also gives extra information about each question, but you can only access this after finishing the quiz and reaching a certain score.

One unique feature is that players can help create quiz questions. You can also act as a quality checker to decide if a question is good enough. So, you are not only a player but can also experience being a question maker.

Things I like about Trivia 360:

  • Progress can be saved by logging in with email or Facebook
  • Quiz modes include solo and PvP
  • Solo and PvP have different difficulty levels
  • PvP is more challenging with a short timer
  • Extra explanation is given after the quiz
  • Players can choose or upload an avatar

Things to note:

  • No help system if you get stuck on a question
  • In solo mode, some questions appear again in different forms

3. Erudite

Erudite_

Erudite is a quiz game that trains your general knowledge. It uses a unique system where you match questions on a spinning wheel. For example, in the first level I had to match Roman numerals with Latin numerals.

There were 10 Roman numerals and 10 Latin numerals on the wheel, and they had to be matched correctly. Each correct match gave points, and you needed enough points to move to the next level.

If you made a mistake, you lost a life and had to add more coins. Coins can be earned by watching ads or by completing other quizzes. You can also get free coins by spinning the lucky spin on the main menu. The prizes from the spin can be coins, lives, hints, or extra spin chances.

Erudite has many quiz categories. If you do not want random questions, you can choose your own topics such as films, 90s culture, animals, Hollywood, sports, health, and more.

Some categories can be unlocked with coins, but special topics are only available for premium members. If you play for free, you can only follow the level map without choosing your own topics.

One drawback is that Erudite only has solo mode. There are no leaderboards or global rankings to compare your score with other players.

Things I like about Erudite:

  • Unique quiz concept with a spinning wheel
  • Many topic categories to explore
  • Random topic quizzes with level progression
  • Lucky spin for free coins, lives, or hints

Things to note:

  • Not all quiz topics are free
  • Only solo mode, no leaderboards or global rankings

4. Millionaire

This game offers quizzes with different levels, from kids and easy to difficult and adaptive. The system is similar to the famous quiz Who Wants to Be a Millionaire. Each correct answer gives you coins, which act as in-game money.

The hint feature also follows the TV version. You can use options such as removing two wrong answers, polling, or calling a friend (in the game this is called an expert). However, your lives are limited when answering questions.

The good thing is that you can increase your lives by watching ads, so you do not need to start over from the beginning.

Millionaire can be played in single player mode or online against other players. In single player mode, there are two choices. Classic Mode ends when you run out of lives, while New Game Mode lets you continue even after a wrong answer.

Things I like about Millionaire:

  • Quiz system is similar to the TV show but more colourful and fun
  • PvP mode to compete with other players
  • Quiz levels can be adjusted
  • Suitable for both kids and adults
  • Event menu with special quiz topics

One thing to note:

  • Progress depends a lot on the number of lives left

5. Trivia Crack 2

This game asks users to log in with an email or Google account so that progress can be saved. The cute character named Willy will greet and guide you when you start playing.

Trivia Crack 2 has many game modes. There is Classic Mode where players take turns answering, Single Player, Multiplayer, and even a real-time Duel mode against active players. The quiz topics include geography, science, entertainment, history, sports, and art. In Duel mode, the topics are random.

In Single Player mode, you can choose your own topic by using gold tokens. These tokens can be earned from completing quizzes, spinning the lucky spin, joining daily missions, or through in-app purchases.

Trivia Crack 2 also holds special events with attractive rewards. By joining these events, you can get extra tokens or lives to continue playing more quizzes.

Things I like about Trivia Crack 2:

  • Many game modes, including real-time duels
  • In Single Player, you can choose the topic
  • Tokens can be earned for free through missions, events, or spins
  • Fun graphics and animations
  • Challenging quiz questions

One thing to note:

  • Free tokens are limited. When gold tokens run out, you must buy them or wait until the next day.

So, what do you think of the best and most exciting quiz games from Carisinyal? All of them can help you gain new knowledge while having fun.
