How to Make a Blank Title on Your Instagram Highlight

Written by Aris Wibowo

With the growing popularity of social media, Instagram keeps introducing new features to stay relevant and loved by its users. One of its standout features is the Highlight, which lets you save Instagram Stories so they don’t vanish after 24 hours.

However, not everyone likes how Highlight titles look, as some find them less aesthetic. While Instagram requires users to name their highlights for better organization, there’s a simple trick to remove the titles completely, leaving them blank. Here’s how you can do it easily!

1. Using the Emptycharacter.com Site

The first method involves using the emptycharacter.com site, which offers transparent characters you can use for Instagram, WhatsApp, and other platforms. Follow these steps:

  1. Open emptycharacter.com in your browser (on your phone or computer).
  2. Scroll down the page until you find the “Copy to Clipboard” button.
  3. Tap the button to copy the invisible text.

Once you have the invisible text copied, follow these steps in the Instagram app:

  1. Go to your profile and select the Highlight you want to edit.
  2. Press and hold the Highlight until a menu appears.
  3. Choose “Edit Highlight.”
  4. Erase the current title in the title bar.
  5. Paste the invisible text you copied earlier.
  6. Tap “Done.”

Your Highlight title will now appear blank. If you want to remove the names of other Highlights, simply repeat these steps. It works for both old and new Highlights!

2. Using the Empty Text App

Another method to make your Instagram Highlight title blank is by using the Empty Text app. This app is free to download from the Google Play Store and is super easy to use, with a tutorial available right on its home page. Here’s how to do it:

  1. Open the Empty Text app.
  2. In the “No. of blank characters” field, enter the number of invisible characters you want to generate.
  3. Tap the “Generate” button.
  4. Press the red button at the bottom-right corner.
  5. Select “Copy” to copy the invisible characters.

Now, open your Instagram app and follow the same steps as before to edit the Highlight title. Simply paste the copied invisible characters in the title bar, and the title will disappear.

Removing the Highlight title is surprisingly simple once you know how to do it. Without a title, your Instagram profile can look cleaner and more aesthetic.

If you ever want to add the title back, you can easily edit the Highlight again and delete the invisible characters. Have fun customizing your profile!
