How to Use Wireless Power Share on Samsung Phones
Samsung smartphones not only come with advanced technology but also feature innovative tools that make daily tasks easier. One of these is Wireless PowerShare, which allows you to wirelessly share battery power with other compatible devices.
This feature is especially useful for those who frequently use accessories like wireless earbuds or smartwatches that support wireless charging. When these devices run out of battery, you can simply use your phone to recharge them.

1. Enable Wireless Power Share
The first step is to activate Wireless PowerShare. There are two ways to do this: through Settings or via Quick Settings. In this guide, we’ll focus on enabling it through Settings. Follow these steps:
- Open Settings.
- Select Battery.
- Tap on Wireless PowerShare.
- Toggle the switch to turn it on.
After enabling Wireless PowerShare, you can also set the minimum battery level required to use this feature. By default, the limit is 30%, meaning the feature won’t activate if your phone’s battery is below this level.
Besides using Settings, you can also enable Wireless PowerShare through Quick Settings. To do it, swipe down to open the Notification Panel, and tap the Wireless PowerShare button, which has a battery icon.
2. Attach the Device to be Charged
Once Wireless PowerShare is activated, turn your Samsung phone over so the back is facing up. Place it on a flat and stable surface to ensure optimal charging.
If your phone has a case or other accessories attached to the back, it's best to remove them first. Some cases may slow down the charging process.
Next, position the device you want to charge, whether it's another phone, a smartwatch, or wireless earbuds, on the back of your Samsung phone. Make sure it's properly aligned with the charging coil, as the coil placement may vary by device model.
Check if charging has started. Most devices will show a visual indicator or make a sound when they begin charging. If the device isn’t charging, try adjusting its position slightly to ensure proper alignment. Also, make sure the device supports Qi Wireless Charging, as Wireless PowerShare relies on this technology.
3. Turn off Wireless Power Share Once Done
To stop charging, you can simply separate the two devices. Once separated, a notification will appear on the phone screen. Simply select 'Cancel' on the notification to turn off wireless charging.
If not turned off, the Wireless Power Share feature will turn itself off within 30 seconds if there are no other devices attached. So you don't have to worry if you forget to turn off this feature.
But if you want to turn it off manually, then you just need to open Quick Settings and tap the same icon as when activating it.
Well, those are the steps on how to use Wireless Power Share on Samsung phones. As a note, do not use this feature when your device is overheating, as it can affect charging performance and accelerate battery degradation.
Also, wireless charging is usually slower compared to charging using a cable. Therefore, use this feature only for emergency needs or when you do not have access to a wired charger.
