How to Display Battery Percentage on Realme Phones
Battery information plays an important role on smartphones, including Realme devices. Typically, this information shows the remaining battery percentage. By checking this, you can decide when it’s time to charge your phone and estimate how long your battery will last.
In addition to the numerical percentage, you’ll also see a battery icon. These two elements; the icon and percentage, can be combined or customized to suit your personal preference.
Realme is one of the brands that offers users the flexibility to personalize this display. In fact, the customization options are both diverse and visually appealing.
If you're a Realme user but don’t know how to display the battery percentage, don’t worry. In this guide, the Carisinyal team will walk you through how to show the battery percentage and customize the icon to your liking. Here are the steps:
1. Open Status Bar Settings

The first step is to open the “Settings” app. You can access it either through the app icon or by tapping the gear icon in the status bar.
Next, scroll down and select the “Notifications & Status Bar” menu. Then, tap on “Status Bar” to explore additional settings related to the status bar.
2. Set Battery Styles and Icons

On this menu page, you'll find several customizable settings. To adjust the battery display, select the “Battery Style” option. Realme offers four different styles for you to choose from:
- Horizontal (battery bar positioned horizontally)
- Vertical (battery bar oriented vertically)
- Circle (battery displayed in a circular shape)
- Do Not Display (disables the battery icon)
In addition to customizing the icon, you can also adjust the battery percentage display. To do this, select the “Battery Percentage” menu to view the available options. There are three choices for how the percentage will be displayed:
- Inside the Battery Icon (the percentage appears inside the battery bar)
- Outside the Battery Icon (the percentage appears next to or outside the battery bar)
- Do Not Show (disables the percentage display)
These options are only available when the battery icon style is set to “Horizontal.” If you choose any other style, the percentage will either display beside the icon or not at all.
Some of the display options available are quite interesting, especially the circular battery icon, which is a unique feature not commonly found on other smartphones.
However, the percentage display for this circular icon can only appear on the outside or side of the icon, or not at all. In fact, it would look more appealing if the percentage were displayed inside the icon itself.
Personally, I prefer using the horizontal battery bar icon, combined with the percentage display inside the icon. This option is not only simpler but also saves space on the status bar while still clearly showing the battery percentage.
And that’s how you can display the battery percentage on a Realme phone. For reference, the Realme phone used in this article is the Realme Narzo 50 5G, but this method should be similar across other Realme models.
